The Vintner's Quality Alliance of Ontario wanted to shake people up. This governing body for wines made in Ontario had an antiquated image. And what they stood for was unclear to Ontarian wine drinkers. So they asked for a piece of film that would feel nothing like what they'd done in the past. It had to feel raw, celebrate the earthy and rugged natural qualities of the land and people of Ontario, and get people talking.
